Curious Music Incident No.2

I'd love to see this experiment transposed on the Mumbai concert-going crowd.

chances are that if we try the "Sroyon" experiment here in Mum, the Crowd might just see through us and go about their day( or should that be night?)...And Seeing through is not even say like ignoring... wanted to follow the link... But there seems to be a problem with it... Anywayz... Cheers..

Oh ya! Dunno if you are keen on the financial lit space, but Warren Buffet's latest biography seems quite a read... In Bearish times, celebrate the Bear Eh! but its slightly over-priced at a grand and am not too sure Warren Buffet would go long on it himself.. he will short it... like any other over-priced asset should be. (:

What a lovely experiment! I can't express how grateful I am to you for bringing it to my notice.

Tip: If the web address is longer than the column width, it tends not to be displayed in full. This is a problem that's persisted for a long time. Can't imagine why blogger.com hasn't fixed it yet.
Here's my suggestion: Sign in to edit your post, select the words "this experiment", make it a hyperlink by clicking on the appropriate button on the toolbar at the top (that's the one to the left of the Align Right button), and paste the appropriate URL in the dialog box that springs up.
Sorry if I made this sound like Hyperlinking for Dummies, but by your own admission you're technophobic, so I thought I'll start with the basics.

Oh, and can I blogroll you please?

Sroyon, many thanks for the much needed, detailed instructions :) I realised yesterday that there was something wrong with the way I'd posted the link and I spent a fruitless half-hour trying to remedy the situation.

Also, I didn't have to fall back on your suggestion for the concerts, because I managed to get in and watch the rehearsal instead. It was fabulous, and much easier on the wallet as well!!

I have absolutely no idea what blogrolling is, so another explanation is called for, please!

If I didn't know better, judging by your prose, as also by your technical knowhow, I'd have thought you were a contemporary of Charlotte Brontë. If not Jane Austen. Anyway, here goes...

blogroll /'blogrohl/ verb trans. to place on someone's blogroll
blogroll noun a list of links to other blogs or websites that the author of the blog regularly likes to read, typically residing in the sidebar of the blog.

Okay, I made that up. But you get the idea.

And I just remembered a news report I read a long time back on how playing Mozart in London tube stations had reduced the crime rate. Not strictly related to the topic of your posts, but I thought you might be interested.

Glad to read to got to attend the rehearsals. Must have been a different (but equally lovely) kind of experience.
